sermon series

We will be continuing our sermon series Stimulating Faith by looking at John 2:1-11.

RBYouth meets every Friday at 7 pm. All high schoolers grades 8 - 12 are welcome. Click here for our updated schedule or visit our facebook page or send an email to our Youth Pastor, Jared.

Rightnow Media

As of January 1, the RightNow Media subscription will be canceled. We have made it available for over 2 years and hope that you have made use of this tool. We took it out of the budget this year so that we could use those funds wisely in other areas. You have full access until then so if you have something you want to study make sure you do it before then.

Members, we have a business meeting on February 24 at 7:30 pm. More details will be coming but please put this in your calendar.

We are in need of teachers for our children’s ministry. For more info, fill out a blue recruitment card or email RBKWe are in need of Sound and Computer operators for our worship team. We are looking for people who have an appreciation for music, a willingness to learn and enjoys technology! Talk to Jared for more information and to sign up.

Richmond Baptist Kids

We have our typical 2 - 5-year-old First Look class and the 252KIDS for grades K - 5. In addition to that, we now have a class for grades 6 - 7 that is meeting the youth room upstairs. If you have children in that age range they can go straight there when they have been dismissed.

To make the dismissal from the service easier, be sure to sign in your children at our sign-in booth before you take your seat in the auditorium.

Week 4 - January 2019 - Bottom Line

During the morning service, we do sermon translation in Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish and Portuguese. If you are here today and would like to have the sermon translated just go to the lobby where someone will be at the table with transmitters to hand to you. Spread the word to others – it is our way of reaching out and connecting God’s Word to all people.

Our 10 am service has Mandarin, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish Translation

Check our Pharus facebook group to find out about group activities. We have guest speakers, Sunday lunch, river rafting, and much more!

Health: There are a number of people who are facing medical issues including cancer and minor surgeries. Please pray for Howard Santos father who is very ill in the Philippines. Please pray for Art and the family this week especially as the memorial service is on Saturday, January 26 at 1pm at the Richmond Funeral Home.

RBKids: We are in need of a part-time Children’s Ministry Director. Pray that God will lead us to the person he has and that he will lay this crucial ministry on the heart of that person. Also, we still need more teachers with the addition of another service – maybe you could be the answer to the prayer.

RBOutreach: We are able to give away over 160 Christmas Hampers as a way to express God’s love, care, and hope because of Jesus. Pray that the truth behind the basket will reach into the heart of those who received them.

RBGo: Pray for the GO team as they discern the place where we can impact people with the gospel in the most effective way.

Continue to pray for our RB community as we learn and grow through the transition to 3 services. Let’s ask God to continue to transform lives for His glory and the growth of His Kingdom.

Pray for our missionaries:
1. The Smolders with Wycliffe in Ethipoia
2. The Jakos working with International Student Ministries in Canada soon
3. The Midigos in the DRC (Congo)
4. Inner Hope Ministry
