Missions Trip

Our Trip

Our missions trip will be happening this July 28 - August 10. God has provided some incredible people to be a pioneer team in Tanzania to initiate three GO Projects: Compassion, Leadership Development, and Church Planting in the village of Kigoma, Tanzania. The main purpose of this trip is to encourage, motivate and mobilize lay leaders and pastors of local churches for the extension of God's Kingdom.

Day 2

In the morning the Tanzania Mission Team headed out to one of the villages in Kigoma called Manyovu to hold the leadership seminars at the new church of Hope of the Nations, and go for door to door Evangelism and help in the kids club. LEADERSHIP SEMINARS There were about 30 to 40 village pastors and lay leaders attended the seminar from different churches. The Tanzania mission team had an awesome time connecting with them and teaching on topics such as biblical leadership and spiritual disciplines. DOOR TO DOOR EVANGELISM The Tanzania mission team were sent two by two in the village and proclaim the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. The team had a great experience and felt the leading of the Holy Spirit that the people in the village are so receptive to the gospel and some gave their lives to Christ. Thanks and we will keep updating – Kamal

Thank you for your prayers, church family! Remember when we said we traveled for 50 hours and had lost our checked-in luggage? By God’s grace, they’ve made it to us! It was actually cheaper for the team to have “lost” the luggage and had the airline cover all the shipping costs to get them to the village — God is really on the move!!! (Yes, Justine embodies how we all felt when they arrived.) Blessings! – Ivan

Day 4

Tanzania Mission Team had a great time to connect with the pastors and graduates of hope of the nations and new church plant.

Praise the Lord! This is the whole family that came to Christ today at our day to day Evangelism. – Derek

Day 7

“I can do all things through Him who strengthens me” — it’s Philippians 4:13 in Swahili! Teaching kids from the village of Kasangezi.
